Today's OneWord: Orbit

Orbit
by Belinda Roddie

I am the last one to resist Dorothy's gravitiational pull. The rest of the world orbits around her, but I remain the last lonely planet distanced from the rest of the solar system. Not that I'd compare her to a sun, though she explodes with an artificial light that burns more than it heals or nourishes. Just call me Pluto - I'll see y'all in hundreds of years before I even get close to her.
